Liza is a self-taught artist based in Los Angeles, California. She remembers being amazed by Bob Ross on TV in the early 1990's, but she never really tried painting herself. It was only in 2018, more than two decades after, when she started making oil paintings of "happy trees".

In 2020, her interest turned to geode inspired paintings. She loves how the crystals and glitter mixed with resin reflect light, and shine through. It is like a "luminous lamina". She sold her first painting during the pandemic. This inspired her to create more art to uplift spirits during this depressing time, and led to the conception of Luminous Lamina and the Luminous Lamina Online Store in December 2020.

This shop features Liza's geode inspired arts and crafts and aims to bring inspiration, brightness, and joy to every home.
